Conversion Rate Optimization

Turn More Visitors Into Buyers Without Increasing Ad Spend

Funnel diagnostics, checkout repair, A/B testing and qualitative research. Improve unit economics on every visitor.

Definition

What is Conversion Rate Optimization?

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) is the systematic discipline of using user behavior data, A/B testing with statistical rigor, and conversion architecture principles to increase the percentage of visitors who complete a desired action. For eCommerce, the desired action is product purchase, with secondary metrics including average order value, items per order, and customer lifetime value. CRO at Yashvi Konnect uses heatmaps, session recordings, funnel analytics, and structured testing programs to reduce friction in the path from product view to completed checkout, with revenue per visitor as the primary success metric.

Our methodology

Five steps. Built for statistically valid wins.

See full methodology
STEP 01

Diagnostic Audit

Heatmaps, session recordings, funnel analytics. Identify drop-off points and friction.

STEP 02

Hypothesis Development

Data-driven test ideas ranked by impact, confidence, ease (ICE scoring).

STEP 03

Test Design and QA

Statistical rigor. Sample size calculations. QA across devices and browsers.

STEP 04

Test Execution

Run experiments to statistical significance. No premature stops.

STEP 05

Implementation and Iteration

Winning variants implemented permanently. Losers logged. Learnings inform next tests.

Why us

What makes our approach different.

We do not chase quick-win playbooks. We design tests around how the funnel actually behaves on your store.

Statistical rigour, not gut calls

95 percent confidence minimum. We do not stop tests at "looks like a winner". That violates statistical assumptions and produces unreliable results.

Qualitative plus quantitative

Session replays and user interviews inform hypotheses. A/B testing validates them. Pure UX consulting is opinion. Pure testing without research is shotgun-style.

Revenue per visitor, not raw CR

A higher CR with lower AOV can lose money. We optimize the metric that ties to contribution margin, not just the conversion percentage.

Honest about product fit

Some conversion problems are funnel friction. Others are product-market fit issues. We diagnose both. We will tell you when CRO is not the answer.

Who this is for

Good fit if:

  • Traffic is fine, conversions are not. You get visitors but few are buying.
  • Cart abandonment is too high. High intent visitors are not completing checkout.
  • You want to scale ad spend. Better conversion equals better unit economics on ads.
  • Analytics in place. GA4, GTM and Hotjar properly set up with at least 3 months of data.
  • You have at least 5,000+ monthly visitors to the pages you want to test.
Honest boundary

Where this is NOT a fit:

  • You get fewer than 5,000 monthly visitors to your conversion pages. We will recommend qualitative research over A/B testing instead.
  • Your CRM and analytics are broken and you cannot tell which sessions converted. Fix attribution first.
  • Your fundamental product-market fit is the issue. CRO will not save it. That is a product problem.
  • You want a "best practices" checklist applied without testing. We do not ship changes without evidence.

FAQ

What buyers ask before engaging.

What is the minimum traffic needed for CRO?+
At least 5,000 monthly sessions to your store. Below that threshold, A/B tests take too long to reach statistical significance to be useful.
How long does a CRO test take?+
4 to 8 weeks for a well-designed A/B test to reach statistical significance at typical eCommerce traffic levels. We run multiple tests in parallel to maintain velocity.
Do you guarantee conversion rate improvements?+
No. Honest CRO is about running rigorous tests and learning from results. We guarantee the testing methodology and senior oversight. We do not guarantee specific lift percentages.
What tools do you use for CRO?+
VWO, Optimizely, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, and GA4 for quantitative analysis. UserTesting for qualitative sessions. Session recording and heatmapping for behavioral analysis.
